Srinagar, Nov 22: Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura on Friday announced a strict ban on videography and photography inside the hospital premises.
“The general public is informed that videography and photography inside hospital premises is strictly prohibited to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy. This includes the use of mobile phones or any other device to capture images or videos,” PRO SKIMS said.
The move comes days after a vlogger captured a video in SKIMS emergency ward and circulated the same on social media besides levelled allegations against the institute.
However, later the SKIMS took note of the video circulation and ordered an urgent inquiry after which a detailed report was submitted to the Director SKIMS.
