Srinagar, Feb 15: On the directions of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and Force Head Quarter, Sashastra Seema Bal, New Delhi; 02 BN SSB, Pattan (J&K) on Wednesday began vocational training of basic computer course for 25 students of Kashmir. The one-month course will be held at S-Tech IT Solutions, NH Road, Near BSNL Exchange, Pattan, Baramulla (J&K) with the motto of Service, Security and Brotherhood.
Mukesh Kumar, Commandant, 02 Bn SSB graced the opening ceremony of the course. During the ceremony, other officers Anjay Kumar Rajak, 2nd–In-Command, Santosh Kumar, Dy. Commandant, Deepak Kumar Tomar, Dy. Commandant, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Malla, Dy. Commandant (Medical Officer) of 02 Bn SSB and Principle of S-Tech IT Solutions were present.
Prior to this, Santosh Kumar, Dy. Commandant, 02 Bn SSB, while welcoming the students said the main purpose of the vocational training is to develop skills among the local students which will help in their career progression.
Mukesh Kumar, Commandant, briefed the students on the training and extended gratitude towards the parents of the students for believing in the force and allowing their wards for participating in the said training. “The purpose of the course is to help the needy students to learn computer which can be useful for them for employment, self-employment and also in day to day digital activities,” he said, adding that the SSB will organize more programs in the near future to help the people of Kashmir.
