Baisakhi program held at Baramulla Gurudwara

Baramulla, Apr16: Sikh community celebrated Baisakhi with religious fervour and enthusiasm at Gurudwara Tapiyana Sahib on Sunday.
Ragi Jathas from Shri Harmandir Sahib attended the programme and performed Kirtan.
Several arrangements were made by authorities for smooth functioning of the festival.
Manmeet Singh, Secretary GPC (Gurudwara Parbandak Committee)Tapiyana Sahib, said ” On behalf of GPC Shailkot I greet people on this occasion. I hope that the festival of Baisakhi would be a harbinger of peace and prosperity in the world.”
“Every year we celebrate this festival with enthusiasm and brotherhood. This festival gives the message of peace and affection between every community of Kashmir. We will spend our day visiting Gurudwara with our family,” Supreet Kour, a devotee said.
Several stalls were also organised by youths for the devotees. Langar was also served to devotees.
Sikh community of Kashmir celebrated Baisakhi with joy and religious fervour on Sunday to observe the 324th year of the foundation of Khalsa Panth by 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
