Husband arrested for allegedly killing wife in Tangdhar

Srinagar, May 29: Woman was allegedly killed by her husband in Tangdhar’s Kupwara district.
The woman was alleged strangled during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday.
The suspect, identified as Amjid Ahmed, son of Abdul Rasheed Mughal from Shartpalla Tangdhar, works as a driver for SRTC. Following the incident, police promptly arrested Ahmed and launched an investigation into the matter.
An official stated that the investigation is progressing rapidly and more details will be shared as they become available.
A police officer confirmed the incident to Rising Kashmir, noting that a comprehensive investigation is underway. The officer also mentioned that they are examining all possible angles and that the autopsy will clarify the cause of death.
