Srinagar, Mar 20: Khelo India 10 Ka Dum wushu Womens league empowering Women through sports one day Wushu event concluded successful at Polo Ground indoor sports complex organized by Wushu Association Of J&K under the aegis of Wushu Association of India sponsored by SAI (Sports Authority Of India).
Morethan 500 players of different Districts/Schools/club’s across JK participated in this mega event.
Nuzhat Ara, Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir Province said that Wushu Association is doing tremendous work in the valley and assured full support towards the Athletes of UT.
Nadeem Ahmad Dar, Deputy Director SAI J&K Region appreciated the event and gothappy by the positive response from the athletes.
Joint secretary, Wushu Association JK, Mohd Maqsood Rather thanked Kuldeep Handoo“Dronacharya Awardee” for organizing such great event which helps athletes to come up and show their talent at national andinternational platform. “He had taken Wushu to the next level in whole JK by giving medals to the country at different international levels,” Rather said.
He alsothanked Sports Authority of India for organizing such events especially for Women which gives them chance to show their talent in such events.
