Srinagar, Oct 29: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and incharge of J & K affairs Durgesh Pathak today said they will change the headlines of newspapers in J&K and will replace words like “bullets, firing, bloodshed, encounters” with better governance and development models.
Pathak was speaking at an AAP function here while administering oath to newly appointed office bearers of Kashmir division.
He said it is one of the biggest oath ceremonies in which 1450 office bearers have been administered oath who shall start their organisational work thereafter.
Pathak is also a Parliamentary Action Committee (PAC) member, National Organization Building Incharge and MLA of Delhi Legislative Assembly.
Pathak said that joining of people from all walks of life shows that the party is accepted in all corners of Jammu and Kashmir and is now first choice among all the walks of life.
Former minister in J&K and AAP’s head of State Coordination Committee Harsh Dev Singh said BJP divided the princely state of J&K into two union territories which is not acceptable.
He said the dignity and honour of people of Jammu and Kashmir must be restored.
