Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday has arrested two persons and seized two tippers for involved in illegal transportation of minerals in Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police spokesman said, “Police under the supervision of Mohd Nawaz-JKPS SDPO Pattan assisted by PSI Zilal Ahmad, IC PP Mirgund* seized two Tractors and drivers namely Waheed Ahmad Dar S/O Ali Mohd Dar & Mohamad Saleem Dar S/O Gh Ahmad Dar both residents of Kanihama Magam, District Budgam at Kanisuth Colony Mirgund Pattan who were found involved in illegal transportation of soil minerals.
“Case FIR under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Pattan and investigation set in motion”, he said.
