Ganderbal, Sep 08: Two individuals found themselves in a harrowing situation when a bear attack occurred in the Manigam Dursum area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday afternoon.
An official recounted the incident that a bear had viciously attacked two individuals in Manigam. Swiftly after the ordeal, they were rushed to PHC Manigam for immediate medical attention. Subsequently, they were referred to SKIMS Srinagar for specialized treatment.
The two injured individuals have been identified as Nisar Hussain Khan, son of Sikander Khan and a resident of Dursuma, and Khadim Hussain, hailing from Rajouri.
The concerned locals have appealed to the wildlife department to address this alarming situation promptly.
