It is well said that the “teachers are builders of nation” with its practicality in all the spheres of the life. As a part of discussion if we ignore teacher in the system for a fraction of a second, a sense of undesired atmosphere shall prevail all along. We the human beings with the gift of nature by way of “superior to all creatures” are under the influence of our seniors. As we know the maximum of the dignified class flourish under the guidance of the traditional system leaving part proceeds thereof blooming under the patronage of the erstwhile Teachers. The Revered teacher has a pivotal role & as such can’t be ruled out under any circumstances. We the learners by default by this or that way are subservient to the deliverance of the Revered teachers. Let’s pray that the present system of the teachers must enrich themselves with the same sprit as it had been during our old days.
I presume its prevalence on the same pattern with the additions to the huge quantum as the status of the esteemed position is highly delicate, sensitive with no substitute. Among other everlasting occasions the mathematics day is being celebrated all over the country.
On the grand day of Mathematicians I would like to share my childhood days when I was a school going child under the influence of good teachers, who used to be next to parents because I do remember the so called personalities were not ready to invite any kind of risk at the cost of their students. I once again salute to all the Revered teachers in general & my teachers who taught me in particular. It gives me pleasure to inform that whenever & wherever the Revered Teachers happen to come to my office, I at once tremble with the fair & the respect that is in its inheritance to the dignified personalities because they are the real heroes of the society.
As we know that the Mathematics day is being celebrated throughout the country & as such it is an obligation for one & all to commemorate the services of the Revered teachers in general & the August Chairs in particular who have a due recognition by way of the tireless services & a lot of contribution in the renowned system of teaching community by way of teaching Mathematics. On this day I have a time & to refresh the memories more than three decades old & as such left with no alternative but to audit my childhood school days so as to haunt for “Man of the match”. After a serious thought it clicked to one & only one namely My “Revered Teacher Mr Shahbaz Sir” In fact during my academic carrier with the background of Engineering Degree in civil discipline have come across a good number of revered teachers who have a very great role in shaping my carrier.
All my Revered teachers have proven their worth at the appropriate period of time but at the same time the services of one renowned mathematician namely Mr Shahbaz Sir strikes me all the times when the question of teaching the Subject Mathematics is the subject matter. I remember the Worthy Sir has started his carrier in 1980 & as such he was assigned to teach “Mathematics” to our class rather the first class/first batch of his long outstanding carrier spread within the period of more than three decades.
I reiterate that I am physically here but mentally I have attained the position of my pre-matric standard class as if the outstanding personality in question i.e. Mr Shahbaz Sir is teaching Mathematics in my class & myself as a student in the class 9th.The way of teaching with the highest depth is really a mismatch & till date the fundamentals of the basics of Mathematics with efficient deliverance is still a mystery.
The innovative, friendly methods that goes to the subject was the routine of the outstanding personality to have more & more attraction with the so called dry Subject (Mathematics). To be frank enough till time despite the fact & being a student of a good Schools/ prestigious College I found my Teacher as the unique personality with no match in the subject.
Needless to mention that the Revered Sir has gone through the Gross roots of the basics of Mathematics, clearance of the fundamentals in the broader spectrum. I still remember on the eve of the attainment of his superannuation I didn’t control & reaffirmed that when the question of teaching mathematics comes anywhere I take it as Mr Shahbaz Sir in charge of the assignment. I always take the “Subject of Mathematics’ incomplete without the name of the Sir prefixed or Post fixed with it.
On the grand day the best way to commemorate the services of our beloved Mr Shahbaz Sir is to have the unparalleled Mathematics institute in the Sumbal Sonawari for imparting the quality education of mathematics up to 10th standard because if one is fully acquainted with the basics of Mathematics up to this level then it calls as “Sky is the limit”.
