SRINAGAR, JULY 23:  Over the past four years, Jammu and Kashmir has undergone a remarkable transformation with an unprecedented surge in developmental projects, successfully completed by the government.
The central tenet of this approach has been the government’s unwavering commitment to serving the last person in the queue, ensuring inclusivity and development across the region.
The figures speak for themselves, showcasing the dedication of the government in uplifting the lives of its citizens. In the fiscal year 2019-20, an impressive 12,637 projects were completed, followed by 21,943 projects in 2020-21. The momentum grew exponentially in 2021-22, with 50,726 projects successfully accomplished. The ongoing year, 2022-23, is witnessing an astonishing 92,560 projects nearing completion.
A distinguishing feature of the Jammu and Kashmir government’s approach has been its unwavering focus on inclusivity, aimed at reaching the most remote and marginalized communities.
Led by the Lieutenant Governor, the administration has taken concrete steps to provide access to education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities to the underserved sections of society.
Rural development has been a prime area of emphasis, recognizing the significance of robust rural infrastructure for overall progress. Notably, road connectivity, clean water supply, and electrification projects have been prioritized, significantly improving the quality of life in rural areas.
The completion of thousands of developmental projects has not only enhanced living conditions but also provided a much-needed impetus to the local economy. The government’s focus on job creation has resulted in numerous employment opportunities across various sectors, contributing to a reduction in unemployment rates and empowering the population.
Investment in infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and transportation networks, has been a critical component of the government’s developmental strategy. These efforts have facilitated better connectivity between regions, streamlined the movement of goods and services, and fostered overall economic growth.
The remarkable record of developmental projects completed by the Jammu and Kashmir government over the past four years attests to its commitment to serve the last person in the queue. Through its inclusive approach, the government has bridged gaps, uplifted marginalized communities, and accelerated economic growth. As Jammu and Kashmir continues its journey of development, it holds the promise of a brighter and more prosperous future for every citizen in the region.
