Katra, Jan 18: Students from the BBA program of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) have made an outstanding mark in the July-December session of the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) certification courses.
Rishav Bhardwaj and Kashish Mahajan secured gold medals for their exceptional performances, reflecting the university’s commitment to skill enhancement and experiential learning. Rishav Bhardwaj stood out by earning a spot in the top 2% of participants in the “Introduction to GST” course, securing an impressive 90 percent and a gold medal. The course, taught by Prof. Anil Sharma from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), certified 975 individuals, including two SMVDU BBA students who also earned silver medals.
Kashish Mahajan also excelled by ranking in the top 5 percent of participants in the “Developing Soft Skills and Personality” course, achieving a 90 percent score and a gold medal. Conducted by Prof. T. Ravichandran of IIT Kanpur, this course certified 10,687 participants, with 12 BBA students from SMVDU earning silver medals.
