Srinagar, Nov 30: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir held a motivational seminar ‘Moral, Ethical Values & Teacher Student Relationship’ at the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, Shuhama campus.
The one-day event was organised by the varsity’s Division of Animal Genetics and Breeding (AGB) under the sponsorship of the ICAR-World Bank funded National Agricultural Higher Educational Project (NAHEP) for the institutional development of SKUAST-K.
Programme Executive All India Radio Srinagar Station, Dr Satish Vimal, who is a renowned poet and author, was the lead speaker at the occasion.
Dr Satish Vimal in his speech highlighted various facets of a ‘meaningful life’ and touched on different aspects of human values and approaches required during contemporary times. He focused on the strategies for combating the challenges related to anger issues and their management. He also enlightened the audience about the cultural and historical heritage of Jammu and Kashmir for a meaningful societal co-existence.
Earlier, Dean Faculty of FVSc, Prof MT Banday highlighted the need for inculcating moral and ethical values among the new generation.
