Schools to reopen on Mar 4 in Kashmir

SRINAGAR: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Thursday said that the schools in the Kashmir division shall commence class work on March 4 instead of March 1, in view of inclement weather.
In an official order, the Director of School Education Kashmir said that, in view of the weather advisory issued by the Meteorological Department predicting heavy snowfall in the valley, it is hereby ordered that classwork in all government and recognised private schools of the Kashmir Division up to the higher secondary level commence on March 4, 2024.
