Rates for Common Service Centers fixed in Budgam: DC

Budgam, Feb 03: Budgam administration has fixed the rates for the authorised Common Service Centers (CSCs) which are functional across the district. 
Deputy Commissioner Syed Fakhrudin Hamid told Rising Kashmir that the rates have been fixed to deliver various services from authorised CSCs to citizens and businesses.
“Under the Government to Citizen (G2C) services, the citizens have to pay only Rs 25 for the submission of applications, scanning, and uploading of documents,” the DC said.   
He said that for downloading and printing of documents, which include certificate nakkals and single-page services, the citizens have to pay only Rs 10 per copy. If the documents are being downloaded and printed in colour, they have to pay Rs 15, he said. 
He said that under the Government to Business (G2B) services, for the submission of applications, scanning, and uploading of documents; they have to pay only Rs 50. “Downloading and printing of documents, which include certificate nakkals and single-page services, the charges are only Rs 10 per copy. If the documents are being downloaded and printed in colour, Rs 15 are to be paid,” he said.
The DC said the rates that have been fixed by the Information and Technology Department of Jammu & Kashmir have been implemented across the district. “A four-member committee has also been established in this regard. In case of any violation of the rates in the authorised Common Service Centers, strict action will be taken against violators under the relevant provisions of law,” he said.
“If any person has any complaint regarding these services, he or she can contact the WhatsApp number which has already been shared in the public domain,” the DC added.
