Ganderbal, Dec 08: Cabinet Minister from the Punjab Government, Lalkar Singh, extended a warm invitation to people, urging them to discover the “breathtaking beauty” of Sonamarg – a famous tourist destination in Kashmir.
Having recently visited Sonamarg with his family, Singh shared his positive and captivating experience. Expressing his delight, he said, “My visit to Kashmir was a first, and I was enchanted by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The natural beauty of Sonamarg is truly unparalleled.”
Highlighting the untapped potential for winter tourism, Lalkar said, “I came to know that Sonamarg will remain open this winter. This is excellent news and will undoubtedly contribute to boosting the local economy besides bringing joy to tourists.”
Singh hailed the commendable efforts of the administration in Jammu and Kashmir saying, “The authorities are doing a tremendous job harnessing the tourism potential of the region. Their initiatives are crucial for showcasing the beauty and hospitality of Kashmir.”
With the government actively encouraging travel to the place, it is anticipated that the region will experience a surge in tourist arrivals, which will provide significant economic benefits to the local community and solidifying Sonamarg’s position as a sought-after destination in the Kashmir Valley.
