Srinagar, Oct 21: A three-day capacity building workshop organised by National Centre of School Leadership (NCSL), a constituent of National Institute of Education Planning and Administration (NIEPA) in collaboration with School Leadership Academy (SLA) of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) concluded here on Friday.
Prof. Charu Smitha Malik, an assistant professor with the NCSL, provided practical instruction to at least 50 participants from each of the valley’s ten districts, including principals of higher secondary schools, heads of district institutes of education and training, senior lecturers, headmasters, and head teachers.
SLA Coordinator Dr.Fayaz Ahmad read the concept note and need analysis before Mohammad Sharif Dehdar, Joint Director SCERT, Kashmir Division, officially started the workshop. Together with Masood Ali, Dr. Rabia Naseem, who is the divisional coordinator for SLA, moderated the program.
Six sessions on perspective on school leadership, improving oneself, changing the teaching and learning process, building and leading teams, and creating a school development plan were held over the course of three days. A variety of tasks and procedures were held on both an individual and group level including the one by Rehana Qussar, technology in-charge at SLA.
The NCSL is dedicated to helping schools across the country in striving to solve the leadership requirement and contextual school issues with the transformation of schools as the primary purpose.
DLSA Sgr organises Special Lok Adalat at Srinagar
8295 out of 8346 Cases amicably settled: realizes an amount of Rs 1, 40, 83,712 in total
Srinagar, Oct 21: A Special Lok Adalat was organized on Fridayby District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Srinagar under the directions of J&K LSA, here.
The Special Lok Adalat was organised under the Chairmanship of Jawad Ahmad, Chairman DLSA (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Srinagar.
A total of Nine Benches were constituted on the occasion to take up cases of different nature.
A total of 8346 Cases were taken up for their amicable settlement out of which 8295 cases were settled. This involves an amount of Rs. 50,55,000 settled by MACT, Srinagar, Rs 48,98,874 in Bank cases and in addition an amount of Rs. 4125038 was imposed as fine in traffic cases. In total an amount of Rs 1, 40, 83,712 was realized in total.
