NC condoles demise of wife of Lt Muhammad Aslam Khan

Srinagar, Aug 15: National Conference (NC) has expressed profound grief and heartfelt condolences over the demise of the wife of Late Muhammad Aslam Khan, former Chief Engineer, PDD. The deceased was the mother-in-law of Safiya Abdullah Khan, daughter of NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah.The party stands in solidarity with Asim Khan – son-in-law of Dr Farooq Abdullah and brother-in-law of NC Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah – during this time of personal loss. Dr Farooq, Omar , and CM’s Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani, attended the Namaz-e-Janaza of the departed soul at Shalimar.Later, a condolence meeting was held at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, which was chaired by Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar. The meeting was attended by Provincial President Showkat Ahmad Mir, senior leaders and MLAs, including Mubarak Gul, Shameema Firdous, Salman Sagar, Mushtaq Guroo and Ahsan Pardesi.Party functionaries from various wings, including the Youth National Conference, Women’s Wing, Media and Social Media Cells, also participated in the gathering. Fatiha prayers were offered for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
