Srinagar, Jun 12: National Conference (NC) General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar on Thursday met with a delegation from Kargil at the party headquarters, Nawa-i-Subh here.
During the interaction, Sagar reiterated the party’s unwavering commitment to raising and addressing the concerns of the people of Kargil, the party said in a statement issued here.
The NC leader assured the delegation that the party remains firmly committed to advocating for the issues that affect the people in Kargil. “Together, we will continue to shine a light on the challenges faced by the people of Kargil and work towards finding solutions that benefit the entire region,” he said.
Sagar emphasised the National Conference’s longstanding ties with the people of Kargil and its consistent efforts to safeguard their rights and aspirations. He took note of specific grievances raised by the delegation and assured follow-up at appropriate forums.
The delegation also felicitated newly appointed Provincial President Showkat Mir and Provincial Secretary Syed Tauqeer.
