Srinagar, June 24: Molvi Imran Raza Ansari, Secretary General of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC) and President of All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA), has extended his warmest greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Ghadeer.
Eid al-Ghadeer, a significant day in Islam, commemorates the appointment of Imam Ali (AS) as the successor to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) at Ghadeer Khumm. This occasion emphasizes unity, justice, and love within the Islamic faith, said a statement issued by the association.
Molvi Imran stressed the importance of unity and harmony. He urged the people to come together, promote peace, understanding and mutual respect, regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds.
As President of AJKSA, Molvi Ansari extended warm wishes to the Muslim community and the people of Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting the values of compassion, justice, and equality that are integral to Imam Ali’s (AS) teachings. He emphasized the need to embrace these values to foster a just and inclusive society.
The PC leader said Eid al-Ghadeer symbolizes the unbreakable bond between believers and stands as a beacon of hope and unity for all Muslims worldwide. He expressed hope for a prosperous future, guided by the spirit of Eid al-Ghadeer, and called upon citizens to embrace unity, empathy, and solidarity for the betterment of Jammu and Kashmir.
