SRINGAR, July 13: The Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department (JKHED) has declared a summer vacation for all Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir division and the winter zone of the Jammu division. The announcement, made on Thursday, stipulates that the vacation period will commence from July 15 of this month.
Dr. Ravi Shankar, the Special Secretary from the J&K Higher Education Department, confirmed this decision to Rising Kashmir. He said all Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir division and the winter zone of Jammu division will observe a 10-day break from July 15 to July 24.
The Principal Secretary to the Government Higher Education Department, Alok Kumar, further reinforced this decision through an official order. In the order, he stated that all Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir Division and Winter Zone of Jammu Division shall observe the summer vacation from July 15 to July 24.
