Jammu, Nov 30: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today chaired a meeting at Raj Bhawan to review the preparations for the upcoming written examination for the selection of Police Constables in Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, Principal Secretary (Home) Chandraker Bharti, ADGP Jammu Anand Jain, IGP Kashmir Vidhi Kumar Birdi, Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor Mandeep K. Bhandari, Divisional Commissioners Jammu and Kashmir, Ramesh Kumar and Vijay Bidhuri, along with all DIGs, Deputy Commissioners, and SSPs, both in person and virtually.
The Lieutenant Governor discussed the arrangements in place for conducting the examination across the region and directed the senior officials to ensure thorough preparation. “We must ensure a transparent, smooth, and incident-free examination,” he said, urging the DIGs, DCs, and SSPs to personally visit the examination centers.
The meeting was briefed on all logistical arrangements for the written examination for the post of Constable (Armed/IRP/Executive/SDRF), scheduled to be conducted by the J&K Services Selection Board on December 1, 2024.
