Srinagar, Nov 27: The Joint Director of School Education Jammu has directed all Chief Education Officers in the Jammu Division to guarantee full attendance of teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as students, and to ensure that selected schools are adequately prepared for the seamless execution of Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024.
In an official Circular Subah Mehta, the Joint Director of School Education Jammu said that Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024 (PARAKH), previously referred to as the National Achievement Survey, is a comprehensive educational survey aimed at evaluating the status of India’s education system as outlined in the National Education Policy 2020.
“The survey is organized by the Ministry of Education, NCERT, New Delhi, and CBSE across the nation, targeting students at the conclusion of the Foundational, Preparatory, and Middle stages of education, specifically in grades 3, 6, and 9.
“The survey utilizes a representative sample of schools and seeks to: Asses Students Performance, 2. Compare performance across groups, 3. Identify leaming Gaps and plan to plug the same, ” Joint Director explained.
Subha announced that the survey is scheduled for December 4, 2024, for students in classes 3, 6, and 9. All Chief Education Officers in the Jammu Division are hereby instructed to ensure full attendance of teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as students, and ensure preparedness of selected schools for smooth conduct of Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024 without fail.
