‘Jashn-e-Tral’: Army organises cultural festival to celebrate Kashmir’s heritage

Srinagar, Feb 27: The army organised a grand music and cultural festival, ‘Jashn-e-Tral’, at Government Degree College, Tral, drawing a massive crowd of artists, youth and dignitaries. The festival, a celebration of Kashmir’s rich artistic and cultural heritage, featured mesmerising Sufi and folk music, dynamic dance performances, and high-energy martial arts demonstrations.
The event aimed to promote unity, cultural pride, and youth engagement, showcasing the indomitable spirit of the valley’s people. The audience was left spellbound by a series of captivating performances, including–martial arts displays where skilled youth demonstrated agility and strength in traditional and modern combat techniques, enthralling acts, including Rouf and Bhand-e-Pather, highlighting Kashmir’s rich folk traditions.
