Ganderbal, Apr 30: Former MLA and Jammu Kashmir United Movement (JKUM) President Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar extended support to the J&K Apni Party and joined a campaign rally here on Tuesday. The event saw Jabbar sharing the stage with Mohammad Ashraf Mir, the Apni Party’s parliamentary candidate for Srinagar, alongside senior leaders including Ghulam Hassan Mir.
During the campaign, Ishfaq urged party workers to rally behind Mohammad Ashraf Mir, emphasising the importance of electing the Apni Party candidate to bring positive changes to the Ganderbal district. He highlighted the “shared vision” and goals of the two parties in striving for the welfare and development of the local populace.
Expressing gratitude for the support received from Ishfaq Jabbar and his party, Ashraf Mir emphasised the “joint mission” of both parties to challenge and defeat “entrenched political entities that have historically failed” to fulfill the aspirations of Ganderbal’s residents.
