Srinagar, May 30: National Conference (NC) President, Dr Farooq Abdullah on Friday offered the Friday congregational prayers at the Asar-e-Sharif Dargah Hazratbal Shrine.
Dr Farooq joined thousands of devotees at the Dargah Sharif, which houses the holy relic of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The occasion held spiritual significance and resonated deeply with the sentiments of the local populace, the party said in a statement issued here.
Interacting with the devotees after the prayers, the former chief minister emphasised the importance of unity, compassion, and spiritual reflection in the face of current challenges. “Hazratbal has always been a symbol of peace and devotion for our people. In these trying times, we must hold fast to our shared values and support one another with kindness and faith,” he said.
