Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh reiterated his unwavering dedication to the police force, expressing his intent to continue serving and supporting the force.

With a 37-year career in law enforcement, Singh emphasized his enduring allegiance to the police, stating, “I’m not leaving the force, I’m with the force and will always be with the forces. My love and regard will always be with the police force.”

Singh highlighted the significant strides made by the police in fostering peace and tranquility in Jammu and Kashmir. “I believe as police force we need to keep peace intact, and over the years we have been very successful in establishing the peace and tranquility in Jammu and Kashmir,” he affirmed.

The DGP also shed light on recent strategic initiatives, notably the launch of a convoy of vehicles as part of the ‘Zero Terror’ plan aimed at preserving peace in the region.

“You saw the convoy of vehicles that we launched… A few days ago, we launched vehicles under the Zero Terror plan. This is to maintain peace…Today, we are capable and have resources,” he stated.

Singh expressed his confidence in the force’s preparedness to confront any challenges, affirming, “I have full faith that the force is ready to face any challenges.”

Moreover, he assured the public of the current peaceful situation along the Line of Control (LOC), encompassing areas like Keran, Tangdar, and Gurez, underscoring the stability in these regions. (KNS)
