Srinagar, May 31: People’s Democratic Front (PDF) President Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen on Saturday paid tributes to former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), Mohammad Sultan Pandithpori.
He remembered the late Pandithpori as a dedicated public servant whose life was marked by humility, commitment and tireless service to the people of north Kashmir.
In a heartfelt condolence message, Hakeem said Pandithpori’s passing marks a significant loss for the political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir. “He was a sincere and selfless leader who always stood by the common people and raised their issues with honesty and conviction,” he said.
Reflecting on Pandithpori’s political journey, the PDF Chief described him as a grassroots leader who never distanced himself from the public. “He remained accessible to all and worked relentlessly for the welfare of the underprivileged. His contribution to social and political causes will always be remembered,” he added.
Yaseen said that Pandithpori’s legacy lies in his simplicity, integrity, and deep sense of public responsibility. “He was not just a political figure but also a compassionate social worker who earned the respect and love of the people through his actions,” he said.
Expressing his condolences, the former minister extended sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
