Srinagar, Nov 29: Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday ordered deployment of officers in J&K Service Selection Board for utilizing their services for the conduct of examination for the posts of Panchayat Secretary in Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj and PST/PET Of candidates for selection against the post of Sub-Inspector, with effect from 1 -10th December at the designated centres.
As per the order, the officers which have been designated as officers from Kashmir division include Chand Singh Deputy Secretary to the Government, Transport Department, Ajay Bharti Deputy Director, Estates, Jammu, Mohd Farooq Deputy Secretary to the Government, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Umesh Shan Deputy Director, Tourism, Jammu, Abdul Khabir Deputy Director, Tribal Affairs, Jammu, Niamtulah Sheikh Under Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department,
Similarly in Jammu division Sarib Saharan Assistant Commissioner, State Taxes, Srinagar, Prince Noor ul Hamid Deputy Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, Mohammad Ashraf Deputy Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Kashmir, Shakoor Ahmad Dar, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Health & Medical Education Department, Mohammad Rafeeq Bhat Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir
The order stated that the exact deployment of above officers shall be made by the J&K Services Selection Board. The above officers shall report in the office of JKSSB at Jammu/Srinagar on 1.12.2023 for attending the orientation programme.
Arrangements for smooth conduct of exams reviewed
In order to review the arrangements for the upcoming JKSSB OMR based written examination of Panchayat Secretaries, a meeting was today convened by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Gulzar Ahmad here at Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.
At the outset, the ADC sensitized all the officers about their roles and responsibilities for the smooth conduct of the SSB examination across the district.
Threadbare discussion was held upon the arrangements to be put in place at 15 examination centres across the district.
During the meeting, Police and Education departments were entrusted to ensure foolproof security and proper seating arrangements at all the Centres.
The meeting also discussed the arrangements for drinking water, heating, electricity, transport; manpower, videography etc at all centres of the district.
The ADC instructed nodal officers to visit the examination centres and ensure all arrangements are put in place well in time and impressed upon all stakeholders to work in close coordination and ensure smooth and successful conduct of examination.
