Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday said that the government is committed to ensure that the youth of J&K emerge as top-notch entrepreneurs in the country.

Addressing BRICS Youth Council Entrepreneurship run-up event at IIM Jammu, LG Sinha, highlighted the rapid industrial progress in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Over the past few years numerous industries have been established, with many more in the pipeline,” he said, adding, “Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed an unprecedented industrial boom. The government is committed to ensuring that the youth of J&K emerge as top-notch entrepreneurs, contributing significantly to India’s economy.”

He said, “India was known as a global knowledge hub in the past and now it’s the responsibility of the youth to take country to the new heights.”

LG Sinha hailed the New Education Policy by terming it as a revolutionary roadmap to shape India’s educational and technological future. “The NEP is our guide and will play a pivotal role in aligning our education system with global standards,” LG Sinha remarked.

He stressed the critical need for collaboration between academia and industry to drive technological advancements.

“The synergy between educational institutions and industries is essential to foster innovation and develop cutting-edge technologies that will propel India further on the global stage,” he said—(KNO)
