Budgam, May 16: Abrar Rashid, the son of former MLA Langate Er Rashid on Wednesday said that the people should cost their votes and participate in the election process.
Accompanied by his supporters, Abrar Rashid conducted a road show in the Budgam Assembly segment.
During the rally, Abrar Rashid visited various villages in the Budgam assembly segment and urged the people to vote for Er Rashid in the upcoming Baramulla Parliamentary constituency.
In his address to the people, Abrar stressed that it is crucial for the people not to boycott the elections this time, as the election for the Baramulla parliamentary constituency is just a few days away.
“We need the support of the people to elect Er Rashid as our representative in this election. I urge everyone to vote for him” he said.
Abrar emphasized the importance of citizen participation in the election process and urged everyone to exercise their right to vote. This is an opportune moment for us to democratically choose our representatives.
“I am here to support my father in these parliamentary elections, not for personal gain or political motives. My father has always been the voice of the voiceless, and he will continue to do so,” he added.
Abrar expressed his gratitude towards the young and enthusiastic supporters from the Kashmir valley, stating that their love and respect are evident in their participation in his rally. He urged them to fulfill their support by casting their votes and ensuring his father’s success in the elections.
