Srinagar, Jan 27: The Director of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has instructed all the Joint Directors of education department and Chief Education Officers of Jammu Division to transition to e-office mode by or before February 1.
An official from the Director of School Education Jammu said that all Joint Directors of School Education department and Chief Education Officers of Jammu Division are required to promptly adopt the e-office mode of working, utilizing the existing or available infrastructure, before February 1st, 2024.
Additionally, they are also instructed to guide the Zonal Education Officers to make the transition to e-office mode before February 15th, 2024.
The official said that no physical files or daks will be accepted to the Directorate office starting from February 15th, 2024.
“The implementation of the e-office mode will facilitate efficient tracking of files in the online mode,” He said.
