District Baramulla Squash Championship 2023 concludes with stunning participation

Baramullah, Aug 10: District Baramulla Squash championship 2023-24 organized by District Baramulla Squash Rackets Association under the auspicious of J&K Squash Rackets Association under My Youth My Pride initiative by J&K Sports Council in Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir concluded here on Thursday at Squash Complex, Gindun Stadium.This is only facility made for public by the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council with modern facilities.
Players from different Colleges & Schools of Baramulla District participated in Under 15 Boys & Girls, Under 17 Boys & Girls & Under 17 Boys & Girls (Team Event).
The championship was concluded by Sheikh Mohammad Amin in charge Government Middle School, Sheikhpora, Baramulla was Chief Guest for the concluding ceremony of the championship. Chief Guest congratulate association for organizing such a beautiful championship in highly professional manner, he also said that we hope regular club level tournaments will be continuously organised by the association for taking this sport to great height. He also appreciated the initiative by J&K Sports Council for taking Squash to great height.
Chief Guest also expressed gratitude to J&K Sports Council staff, Officials from different Schools & Colleges and media persons for their contribution towards grand success of this championship.
Tariq Ahmad President District Squash Rackets Association, Ms. Asiya Bahar incharge SRM Wellkin School, Sopore presided concluding function as Guest of Honours.
Office Bearers of the J&K Squash Rackerts Association were also present in the ceremony.
Later, the Chief Guest distributed medals, Trophies among the winner and runner-up and Third place indiduals/teams and encouraged them for further upgrading their skill in this potential sport.
The championship was fully sponsored by Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council.
All participating players lauded the slogan which is one of the creations of worthy Secretary J&K Sports Council Nuzhat Gul in one voice; Say No To Drugs, Yes To Sports.
