Kishtwar, Nov 28: NHPC Director (Projects) Bishwajit Basu visited Kishtwar on November 25 on a three-day visit and was given a grand welcome by M K Kashyap, Group General Manager (In-Charge), Dulhasti Power Station and senior officers and employees of NHPC and CVPPPL, on his arrival at Chenab Bhawan guest house of Dulhasti Power Station.
During the tour, Deepak Sehgal, Regional Head, NHPC Regional Office Jammu, Hasan Nadeem, Managing Director, Chenab Valley Power Projects Pvt. Ltd. (CVPPPL) and R P Sharma, Group General Manager (Civil), Corporate Office, NHPC Limited accompanied him.
The Director (Projects) inspected the proposed and located hydroelectric projects of NHPC and CVPPPL in the district. He reviewed the progress of construction of 850 MW Ratle Hydro Electric Project (Jammu and Kashmir), excavation work of power house, temporary field hostel, dispensary etc and interacted with the trainees of the skill development centre at Drabshala, J&K.
