Srinagar, Sep 07: Director Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) on Thursday visited Martand Anantnag and participated in Janmashtami celebrations there.
He was accompanied by Chief Medical Officer Anantnag Dr M Y Zagoo, Block Medical Officer Mattan and other officers and officials. The health department had made elaborate arrangements for the devotees who take part in Janmashtami celebrations.
Martand Tirath Trust organised the Janmashtami procession at Mattan in which hundreds of devotees including men, women, and children participated. They sang Bhajans and expressed the joy of celebrating the festival.
Director Health Services conveyed his good wishes to the people. He directed keeping all healthcare arrangements ready for the devotees round-the-clock so that they don’t face any kind of inconvenience.
