Srinagar, July 11: The Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) has issued a circular instructing all medical staff not to allow any employee to deviate from their assigned official duties, calling the practice unacceptable and indicative of poor administrative oversight.According to the circular, it has been observed that in several health institutions, employees are being permitted to stray from their designated roles. “This practice is unacceptable and reflects poor administrative oversight at the institutional level,” the circular reads.“All Chief Medical Officers, Medical Superintendents, and Block Medical Officers are hereby strictly directed not to allow any employee to deviate from the duties assigned to them as per their official designation,” it adds.The DHSK has further warned that any such unauthorised deployment or role deviation in the future will invite disciplinary action, not only against the concerned employee but also against the supervising officials.
