Srinagar, Sep 16: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) provincial president Mohammad Amin Bhat on Saturday said that the south Kashmir region and Devsar in particular will receive a massive developmental push if the party comes to power after elections.
“Whatever we promise you this time, note it down as we assure you we will live up to our promises and commitments,” Bhat said while addressing the party workers at Devsar. He said that only Ghulam Nabi Azad has the potential and vision to ensure the socio-economic upliftment of the people in the UT.
“What he could do in just three years of his government as chief minister, others failed to do so throughout their political career. So, the choice is left with people either to continue to suffer from generation to generation or choose a leader who secures the future of coming generations,” he told the party workers.
Bhat said Azad has a special space in his heart for the people of south Kashmir and if they support him and bring the party to power, the economy of the people will be substantially improved and the unemployment crisis shall be over.
He said it was in the tenure of Ghulam Nabi Azad that the prestigious Government Medical College was sanctioned in Anantnag which is benefiting the whole region. “Kulgam will be developed and major facilities will be created for the convenience of people if DPAP is in power after elections,” he said.
