DC Rajouri presides over DLTFC Meet; clears 56 cases under JKREGP

The District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) in Rajouri, under the chairmanship of the District Development Commissioner Vikas Kundal approved 56 cases today under Jammu and Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Program (JKREGP). These cases encompassed a loan amount of Rs 368 lakh, showcasing the commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and empowering the local youth.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the pivotal role of timely disbursal of loan assistance to the deserving beneficiaries. Recognizing the significance of prompt support, the District Development Commissioner reaffirmed the commitment to fulfilling the objectives of the scheme. The Jammu and Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Program, launched by the government, aims to stimulate economic growth, nurture entrepreneurship, and create self-employment avenues for young individuals.

The approval of 56 cases under the JKREGP signifies a significant stride towards providing sustainable livelihood opportunities to the youth of Rajouri. By extending financial support and encouraging entrepreneurial ventures, the program aims to address the unemployment challenges faced by the region, ultimately fostering economic development and social empowerment.

The beneficiaries of the approved cases will gain access to crucial financial resources, enabling them to establish and expand their own ventures. By promoting entrepreneurship, the program aims to create conducive environment for the growth of small-scale industries, thus driving economic progress at the grassroots level.

The District Development Commissioner expressed his satisfaction with the number of cases cleared and the loan amount sanctioned under the JKREGP. He acknowledged the efforts of the DLTFC in meticulously evaluating and selecting the deserving candidates, ensuring transparency and fairness in the selection process. He further emphasized the importance of effective implementation and monitoring mechanisms to ensure the successful execution of the program.

The approval of these cases reflects the steadfast commitment of the Government to fostering entrepreneurship and self-reliance among the youth of Rajouri. It marks a significant step towards empowering individuals by providing them with the means to become self-sufficient and contribute to the overall development of the region.

Among the others, Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid; General Manager DIC, Ashwini Sharma; Lead District Manager, Sanjeev Bhasin; Director RSETI, Raman Sharma; District Officer KVIB, Abdul Aziz and other concerned officers attend the meeting.
