Poonch, July 2: In connection with the upcoming 25th Gurmat Samagam scheduled to be held on July 6 at Gurudwara Deri Sahib Khari, the Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal Wednesday visited the Gurudwara Sahib and paid obeisance. He was warmly welcomed by the Management Committee, which expressed heartfelt gratitude for his visit.A statement issued here said that the Gurudwara premises was filled with spiritual fervour as Ragi Jathas from Punjab recited soul-stirring Gurbani Kirtan echoing the messages of peace, devotion and unity. The Deputy Commissioner interacted with the devotees and lauded the smooth and devotional conduct of the pre-event proceedings. While addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the cultural and spiritual importance of such religious congregations in promoting harmony and unity among diverse communities. He also took a detailed review of the arrangements, ensuring that the district administration is fully committed to extending all necessary support for the successful organization of the Smagam. The Management Committee extended sincere thanks to the Deputy Commissioner for his continued support and active involvement in promoting religious and cultural events across the district.
