The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today chaired the District Road Safety Committee meeting to deliberate on road safety measures in the district.
The meeting extensively discussed road safety action plan, Road Safety Act, road signage and traffic calming measures etc.
The DC also took a detailed report about the tasks assigned to different departments during the previous Road Safety Committee meetings.
A comprehensive list of activities related to road safety and traffic management was presented in the meeting.
The DC underscored the importance of inter-departmental coordination to enhance the overall system.
