Srinagar, Feb 03: Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari has strongly condemned the killing of an ex-Army man and the injuring of his wife and daughter in a terror attack in the Behi Bagh area of Kulgam.
Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, Bukhari termed the attack as “cowardly and heinous.” He stated that such acts of violence have no place in a civilized society and must be denounced by all.
“The assailants fired at them at point-blank range, killing the ex-Army man and injuring his wife and daughter. This cowardly attack is highly condemnable, and I strongly denounce this heinous act,” Bukhari said.
Bukhari also extended his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased. “I pray for the swift recovery of the injured mother and daughter,” he added.
Apni Party senior leader and Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the killing of a retired Army man in a terror attack.
In a statement, Andrabi said, “I am deeply saddened by the killing of an ex-Army man Manzoor Ahmad Wagay in a terror attack in Kulgam. Attacking a defenceless person, along with his wife and daughter, at point-blank range is the worst form of cowardice. Everyone must condemn this brutal act of terrorism in the strongest possible terms.” He urged the security agencies to nab the perpetrators so that they can be brought to justice.
