This initiative will be led by National President Jamal Siddiqui.
National President Jamal Siddiqui announced the national in-charge and co-in-charges for the campaign, appointing National Minister of the Front Syed Ibrahim as the National In-charge, and National Executive Member Mohd. Khurshid and Joseph John Hukins as co-in-charges. The BJP will organize various activities nationwide from August 11 to 14 to celebrate Independence Day.
In a virtual meeting chaired by National President Jamal Siddiqui, BJP’s National General Secretary and Minority Front in-charge Dushyant Gautam reviewed the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and the “Dr Kalam Startup Youth Award” program. The meeting included officials of the front and all state presidents.
Jamal Siddiqui said that the Minority Front will actively engage with minority communities across the country during the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. He asked the officials to inspire the public by presenting them with the tricolor and appealing for its display on homes, establishments, offices, dargahs, and madrasas on August 15.
“The front will honour freedom fighters by hoisting the tricolour at the tombs of Captain Usman and Veer Abdul Hameed, meeting the families of those martyred in Kashmir, and refreshing memories of freedom fighters by visiting their families,” a statement issued here said, adding, “From August 11 to 14, Tiranga Yatras will be conducted nationwide by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), with participation from the Morcha’s office bearers and workers.”
The Prime Minister has appealed for the tricolour to be hoisted on every house, shop, and building as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. This campaign aims to demonstrate to the world that India is a country that respects all religions equally and possesses a deep love for the nation and the tricolour. The minority community will actively participate in making this campaign a success.
