Srinagar, May 06: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lal Chowk Constituency on Tuesday held a Workers Committee Meeting at Rajbagh, with enthusiastic participation from office bearers, executive members, active workers, and senior party leaders.
As part of the organisational strengthening efforts, Shakti Kendra units were formally constituted during the meeting. Each unit was tasked with finalising their respective booth teams and appointing one dedicated Karyakarta as the Mann Ki Baat Incharge at the booth level.
“This initiative aims to enhance the outreach and engagement with the Prime Minister’s monthly radio programme, Mann Ki Baat, across the grassroots,” the party said in a statement issued here.
Addressing the gathering, senior BJP leader and Lal Chowk constituency in-charge Er Aijaz Hussain spoke on key organisational responsibilities and the importance of timely and disciplined implementation. “Our strength lies in our structure and sincerity. With teamwork, discipline, and people-centric efforts, we will deliver on the expectations of the people,” he said.
BJP Vice President, Minority Morcha, Amarjeet Singh encouraged party workers to stay steadfast in their dedication to the party’s mission of inclusive development and national integration.
Lal Chowk Constituency President, Umer Shafi expressed gratitude to all attendees for their presence and participation. He called on the cadre to work with renewed zeal and determination to expand the BJP’s footprint across every booth in the constituency.
The meeting concluded with a strong message of unity, coordination, and grassroots empowerment, reflecting the party’s focused approach toward future organisational and electoral challenges.
