Udhampur, May 15: Apni Party District Committee Udhampur has launched a public outreach programme in the remote areas of the district comprising Chanani and Sudhmahadev.
The programme was launched by District Committee Udhampur under the leadership of its Provincial Vice President, Ex-MLA Faqir Nath.
During the public outreach programme, the Apni Party leaders held a series of public meetings at Chanani, Sudhmahadev, Man Talai, Bup Sarar, Marothi, Latti and other places.
Addressing one of the public meetings at Sudh Mahadev, the Ex-MLA Faqir Nath said, “There is an acute shortage of drinking water, electricity, and medicine in the hospitals and the conditions of local roads are in very bad shape.”
He also addressed many local people deputations who met the Apni Party during the public outreach programme and assured them to raise their problems.
Meanwhile, dozens of people joined the Apni Party, an official statement issued here said, adding that those who joined are Azaz Hussain, Rakesh, Yasir Naik, Mohammed Hussain Bhat, Shahid-ulla Bhat, Hukam Chand, Krishan Chand, Mohammed Kalu Khan, Jahangir Ali and others.
