Srinagar, May 06: Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman Sharie Shian recently held a crucial assembly at its headquarters in Srinagar to address critical concerns amidst ongoing controversies and reinforce the association’s allegiance to its leadership and principles.
Amidst swirling controversies surrounding the association’s leadership, the assembly served as a platform to confront these issues directly, the Anjuman said in a press release issued here, adding that allegations and slander aimed at the association’s president prompted members to convene and assert their solidarity.
Central to the assembly’s agenda was the unwavering unity among Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman Sharie Shian members. Despite external pressures and attempts to sow discord, attendees showcased steadfast support for their leadership, underscoring the importance of collective resilience during challenging times, it said.
“A significant portion of the assembly was dedicated to condemning baseless allegations and slander directed at the association’s president. Members vehemently rejected these attacks, expressing full confidence in the integrity and leadership of their elected representatives,” the association said. “Throughout the proceedings, a palpable sense of loyalty and dedication prevailed among participants. Resolutions were passed reaffirming allegiance to the association and its leadership, with members pledging active engagement in advancing its objectives and serving the community.”
As the assembly concluded, there emerged a renewed spirit of determination and purpose among attendees, the statement said, adding that despite facing challenges, members expressed confidence in their ability to overcome obstacles and emerge stronger.
“The high-level assembly of the Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman Sharie Shian underscored the resilience and unity of the Shia community in the region. In the face of adversity, members united to reaffirm their commitment to their principles and leadership, sending a clear message of solidarity to detractors and stakeholders alike,” the Anjuman said, adding that it looks ahead with a renewed resolve to uphold its values and serve the interests of its constituents.
