Kargil, Oct 29: In a significant show of solidarity, a representative of Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi, the President of Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-E-Sharie Shian, arrived in Kargil to deliver a message of support for the people of Ladakh. Aga Syed Muntazir, representing Aga Hassan, brought a strong statement of endorsement for the longstanding demands of the region, emphasizing the need for statehood, a separate public service commission, and other legitimate aspirations of the people of Leh and Kargil.
In his statement, Aga Syed Muntazir affirmed, “We strongly endorse the demands put forth by the people of Leh and Kargil, which deeply resonate with the people of Kashmir. It is crucial that New Delhi listens to these voices and takes prompt action to address their grievances.”
During his visit, Aga Syed Muntazir met with influential leaders in the region, including Jamiat Ulema Asna Asharie Chairman Sheikh Nazir Mehdi, Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust’s Sheikh Rajaie, the CEC of Kargil Hill Council Dr. Jaffar Akhoon, and prominent activist Sajjad Kargili, among others. He assured them that the J&K Anjuman-E-Sharie Shian would advocate through all available channels to ensure that the voices of Ladakh are heard and their demands addressed.
