A Division Annual League Football Tournament 2022:Alamdar FC, Young DownTwon FC register victories

Srinagar Oct 04:In the ongoing Annual League football tournament of A-Division, Alamdar  FC defeated Shaheen FC by a solitary goal while as, Young Down Town FC defeated Alhilal FC by 1:0 goals on Monday played at  Synthetic Turf TRC, Srinagar.

 

As per the official two matches of A-Division were  played today. The first  match was played between Alamdar FC  and Shaheen FC. Both the teams started with an aggressive game. Trying to beat the defence line but could not find the net.

 

 

In the 26th minute of the first half AlamdarFC  made a brilliant move and suhail score brilliant goal. the first half score was 1:0 favouring Alamdar FC.

 

While in the second half of match, Shaheen FC tried to consolidate the position and made certain good moves but could not penetrate the solid defenseline  ofAlamdar FC. Thus the  match ended with a  1:0  in favour of Alamdar FC.

 

The second match was played between Young Down Town FC and Alhilal FC in which Young Down Town FC defeated Alhilal FC by 1:0 goals.

 

In the closely contested match, both the teams missed several scoring opportunities. Numan opened the account for the young Down Town FC in 14th minute of the match, for rest of the  first half the score remained 1-0 in favour of the Young Down Town FC.

 

The second half also witnessed some aggressive move by both the teams. While Alhilal FC was desperate to score an equaliser, the Young Down Town FC players were trying to double the lead. As Alhilal FC was in search of scoring an equaliser. After trailing by one goal, the Alhilal FC players tried their best to score and launched the attacks.

 

But the defence lines of the Young Down Town FC ensured that no goal was scored till the referee blew the final whistle. The final score 1:0 in favour of Young Down Town.

 

The Tournament is being organized by District Football Association (DFA) Srinagar in collaboration with Jammu Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC).
