Srinagar, May 03:Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr.Mushtaq A Rather, accompanied by the Yatra Unit, DHSK, and members of the AmarnathYatra Shrine Board, including K. N. Rai, visited the Chandanwari base camp site to assess the progress of the 100-bed hospital set to be operational during the upcoming AmarnathYatra 2024.
During the visit, Dr. Rather, along with Rai, conducted a comprehensive meeting with all stakeholders involved in the development and operation of the hospital. Emphasizing the importance of timely completion, Dr. Rather stressed the need for readiness to ensure smooth healthcare services during the pilgrimage. Rai assured all possible assistance from the Shrine Board in executing the hospital project.
Dr. Rather commended the operational First Aid center for the advanced deputed team and expressed satisfaction with the progress of the hospital’s work. He focused on the action plan presented to him and instructed all officers and healthcare workers to diligently prepare the hospital for the commencement of SANJY 2024.
Highlighting the necessity for seamless coordination among all parties involved, Dr. Rather emphasized the availability of comprehensive healthcare services for the pilgrims. Officials underscored that the successful operation of the Chandanwari hospital during the yatra will be crucial in providing necessary medical care and emergency services to the pilgrims and the general public, ensuring a safe and smooth experience for all.
The Directorate is diligently working to make all necessary preparations to provide quality healthcare and emergency response services to the pilgrims throughout the journey. The yatra is scheduled to commence on June 29.
