Srinagar, April 07: Jammu and Kashmir Government will prioritize Segregation of Overloaded 11 KV Feeders for Enhanced Reliability in 2024-25 Fiscal year.
As per the official communication, the segregation of critically overloaded 11 KV feeders is aimed at improving voltage and reducing fault levels.
The communication also said that plans are to extend power supply to Tulail Valley in Gurez during the fiscal year 2024-25 and the creation of two new grid sub-stations at 220/132Kv level to boost capacity by 260MVA at Radampora (160 MVA) and Rathsun-Beerwah (100 MVA).
It also said that the construction of three new transmission lines at 132 Kv level, namely Pampore-Nowbugh-Chadoora, Bandipora-Gurez, and a 132 Kv Direct Circuit tap line for the 80 MVA grid sub-station at Drusoo-Rafiabad, is underway.
