Jammu, Nov 10: Prof Rasmita Das Swain, Chairperson of the Management Committee, JKPPSs/PWWA, J&K, visited J&K Police Public School Miran Sahib in Jammu on Friday to assess the school’s functioning. During her maiden visit, she toured the school premises and engaged with students in their classrooms.
Upon arrival, the Chairperson was warmly received by Principal Rajeev Sharma, Tahir Sajad Bhat (JKPS), CO JKAP-8th Bn. (Nodal Officer, J&K PPS Jammu), Manjit Kour (JKPS), (SO to IGP Armed/IRP Jammu), and Satyakam Sharma, DySP (Sports cum Executive Officer, JKPPSs).
During her visit, Prof Rasmita shared her plans for the future development of the school and the successful implementation of the New Education Policy (NEP). She stressed the need for enhancing the educational experience in J&K Police Public School Miran Sahib Jammu and other Police Public Schools in the UT, emphasizing the importance of specialized training sessions for school faculty to keep them updated with the latest pedagogical techniques.
Prof Rasmita Das Swain also underscored the significance of aligning programs with other reputable schools to share best practices, exchange ideas, and foster a culture of innovation in these schools.
While inspecting the laboratories and the Primary & Nursery Wings of the school, the Chairperson interacted with students and discussed the school’s requirements and other pertinent issues with the principal and his team. The principal and staff members provided a comprehensive briefing on the teaching-learning process and the school’s extracurricular activities.
