Jammu, Oct 12: A cultural programme was organized by the J&K Academy of Art Culture & Languages at Sangeet Hall, SRML HSS, Jammu in collaboration with Chief Education Officer, Jammu on Wednesday. The programme was organized under the overall guidance of Secretary JKAACL, Bharat Singhtobrings awareness among students about our culture.
The function was inaugurated by Smt. Anjali Gupta Principal SRML HSS, Dr. Shahnawaz, Cultural Officer JKAACL and Sh. Bhupinder Singh Jamwal, InchargeProgrammes JKAACL by lighting the lamp. Speaking on the occasion, Prinicpal SRML HSS said that cultural programmes are organized to increase the students’ participation in cultural programmes as it is helps the students to remain stress free and to keep distance from the drug abuse.
‘Bhupinder Singh Jamwal said that the members of the Cultural Academy are ready to provide tips regarding presentation, stage coverage and voice modulation techniques to all the interested students.
Beautiful mime based on the theme Save Water was presented by the students of GHS TophSherkhania whereas a short skit based on the theme Swachhata was presented by the students of GHS Raipur Satwari. Sh. Ravi Rajvanshi and Deepak Rajvanshi.The artists of Cultural Academy Ravi Raghuvanshi and Deepak Raghuvanshi accompanied by the musicians Vicky gill and Marwin on Dholak enthralled the audience by their melodious songs.Sh. Kuldeep Kumar and Party presented beautiful Punjabi songs. Students of SRML HSS presented patriotic song, gojri song and a Punjabi dance performance. Smt. RukmaniJamwal, Zonal Incharge Cultural Cell, Jammu was the stage secretary. In the end, Sh. Rajeev Kumar, DICC Jammu presented the vote of thanks.The function ended with the National Anthem sung by the audience.
